There are more of us too, as the population of seniors is expected to double by the year 2025.

Ok, so statistically we're going to live longer. But what can we do to sustain the quality of life, not just the quantity?

Healthcare for Seniors: Offense vs. Defense

I like to look at the different health & medical issues for elderly citizens as Offensive or Defensive. Just like sports or military conflicts, "Offensive" type is where we are being proactive -- like exercise, healthy eating, positive lifestyle during aging and so forth. "Defensive" is, of course, when we are defending against challenging issues like altzheimers, arthritis, bladder control problems, injury prevention, and even End of Life issues.
